Piotr Obidziński, the president of Raków Częstochowa, leaves the club after over 3 years. His departure is the latest change in the club's structure. Obidziński worked in Raków since the beginning of 2023. At the end of February that year, he was appointed as the president of the Częstochowa club and worked in this role from March 2023 to January 2026. After resigning as president, he remained as the vice-chairman of the supervisory board of Raków. Now it's time to say goodbye. Obidziński will officially leave the club on June 30. "Piotr Obidziński became the President of Raków on February 22, 2023. During his tenure, Medaliki won the Polish Championship, the Polish Vice-Championship, and also twice advanced to the Polish Cup final and twice participated in European cups. In the 2023/24 season, they played in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League, and two years later - in the league and cup stage of the UEFA Conference League. In this period, the Club expanded its sponsor base and also developed its commercial, office, and training infrastructure. From the beginning of January 2026, Piotr has been serving as the Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board, leading the work of this body. President, thank you for everything and we wish you success in your future career!" - we read in the official statement of Raków. Obidziński's departure is the latest big change in Raków. It is not yet known whether Dawid Kroczek will remain as the coach, who unexpectedly replaced Łukasz Tomczyk at the end of the season. Raków will also say goodbye to several important players from previous seasons. Częstochowa will definitely leave Ivi Lopez and Zoran Arsenić, whose contracts have expired, and Jonathan Braut Brunes is preparing for a transfer.
